The Designer's Choice is proud to announce the Gateway Records sound effects library.

The audio files are in WAV format and are classic sounds used for video games, indie games, online games, multimedia projects, pc games, mobile applications and more.

Gateway Records sound effects have been collected from every corner of the globe by World Music Service. Great care has been taken to capture an authentic sound, but not at the risk of presenting an effect that does not 'work'. Our engineers have carefully edited each effect to provide the producer with a sound that will 'sound' to the ear like the real thing.

Gateway Records sound effects library is the most complete sound effects library is the most complete ever to have been assembled on record, tape and disc. World Music Service Agents located in many countries around the world are continuously updating the W.M.S. Master Catalogue with new recordings. Additional volumes will be released on a regular schedule.

Each volume has the exclusive 'Soundex' to aid in the selection of the appropriate volumes of interest. It's in addition to the detailed indexing on the back of each album listing all the effects and their duration.

Isolated sounds are often taken for other sounds when placed in different context, i.e. bacon frying may sound like a wood fire in the right context. Therefore, when selecting a sound, keep in mind the context in which it will be used.
